ANSWERED: Time stamp
« on: May 09, 2007, 06:13:30 PM »
Chris, no biggie, but I'm seeing post made like Trina's with a date and time stamp of " today at 8:something pm and it's now just after 6pm. Is this my clock or a web site clock glitch?

If you go under your profile, you can change your time stamp to Pacific Time by clicking auto-detect (under Look and Layout Preferences).  Everyone by default is on Chris' Eastern Time, because he built the website and all.   :)

Done, thanx T, , , now how many more posts do I have to make to get beyond this 'whuffo' status!
And don't you have class to prepare for tomorrow? What are you doing spending all this time updating and 'Archiving' and all this stuff".
Oh miss type A, we love you!

Close.  The web server is physically located in NJ which is EST and the forum gets it's default time zone from the box.

Thanks for fielding this question Trina.  I think it's a good one and I'll add it to the Forum FAQ message board when I get a chance

Done.  I've added your question and Trina's reply to the FAQ board here

Another thing. Might want to make the FAQ's repliable *instead of locked* so that if someone has a question... about the answer TO the FAQ, they can ask it there, without having to make another topic and clutter things up.

Thank you.  That is a VERY good suggestion.  I'll edit the board permissions to enable that ASAP.

Done.  The ability of registered users to REPLY to FAQ topics should now be enabled.  Let me know if there are any problems.
