Pre-arranged Observation Rides
« on: April 28, 2007, 06:45:13 PM »
Well, I'm sorry to say that we are full and cannot accept any more paid observer riders for 2007.

Last year it took about 48 hours to fill up; this year just under 24 hours after we put up notice that we were accepting contributions for observer rides.

Please do not send any money. It will be returned.

If you want to ride in our airplane this year now the only way is to show up in our camp on Saturday and try your luck at our lottery. We will be giving away as many rides as we have space for so please come by. We will be flying from 11 am to sunset.

I hate to say no to anyone - feel free to send an email to burningsky2007@gmail.com to check in with us and get on the list for next year.

So how can we give slots away with a lottery if I just told you that we are full? First, we hold some slots back to give away – this is Burning Man after all! We set Saturday aside to give away as many rides as we can!

To find us check out our address in the theme camp list that you get at the gate or check with this website in August when we know our address.

I'm sorry we couldn't offer more observeration rides to our contributors this year. Hope to see you in BRC. I know you will see us – just look up!

If we have purchased tix ahead of time and want to give them out and pay for a friend to do an observer ride, that is fine, right?

Yep, you can give your slots away to anyone you want except an unregistered skydiver.

Last year I was lucky enough to win an observation ride. I was one of a few in Suspended Animation who did so. This year I would love to pre arrange for my partner to get one. Is this still possible? I see that this topic has gone dormant for a long while...
