Burning Sky Stats - 2003
We were able to capture basic information about the 2003 Burning Sky Jumpers. While a minimum of 100 jumps is required to jump at Burning Man, many of the jumpers far exceed the minimum requirements and are accomplished skydivers. In 2003, the group averaged 1400 jumps per jumper and had an average of 7.5 years in the sport.

65% of the Burning Sky jumpers had 6 or more years of jump experience.

While a minimum of 100 jumps is needed to jump at Burning Man, 60% of the Burning Sky jumpers had over than 500 jumps. 40% had over 1000 jumps. The group had an average of 1400 jumps per jumper.

The Burning Sky camp members included jumpers and friends of jumpers. 2003 was the third year as an organized group, and 80% of the jumpers had been to Burning Man three or less years.
